Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Jeremiah 33:3

God is a prayer answering God who takes delight in answering His people when they pray.  Beloved, our part is to pray and God’s part is to answer.

Why God answers prayer:

– God is a prayer answering God:  “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.” (Psalm 65:2).

-God has the power to answer prayers.  “Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.” (Psalm 66:3).

– He is a merciful God.  “And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” (Exodus 20:6).

-To confirm He is alive.  “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.” (Job 19:25).

-God is aware of our needs.  “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” (Job 23:10).

-God is committed to giving us help.  “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1).  He said on, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” (John 14:18).

Friends, praise God in advance because your answer is sure, and is coming faster than you expected.  Glory be to God!
